The latest episode of AEW Dynamite was preponed by the due date to the MLB Playoffs. As a result, there were not as many fans in the arena as expected. Fans took a dig at it on social media and claimed AEW to be 'All Elite Wrestling'. While some trolled AEW, the genuine fans backed the promotion amidst the difficult times.

AEW emerged to be one of the most popular Wrestling promotions. However, it has its own shortcomings. The talking point about the company every now and then is the focus on Wrestling rather than the story something WWE has been able to cash in over the years. The tribalism has definitely taken off since AEW's emergence.

It seemed like the fans who did not like AEW were the ones who took a dig at the empty seats on Dynamite. Many pointed at the video which has been doing rounds on the internet as the one before all the fans were in attendance. They claimed that the show was indeed packed when they saw it on the TV.

Improvements needed for AEW

Criticism which was focused on the Wrestling part and the lack of fans aside, the show has a bad image among some fans due to the boss. Tony Khan has been regarded as someone who does not understand the Wrestling business as well as the one in WWE.

The fans felt there was a need to take care of the creative decisions in the company. Hence, they felt the debut of Shane McMahon and his potential involvement in the creative team could play a key role in the evolution of the company.

There is no doubt that the roster has some of the best talents in the world like Swerve Strickland, Ricochet, Will Ospreay, MJF, Daniel Garcia, Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley, Mariah May, Toni Storm, and many others. It does seem like there is a need for AEW to rebrand itself. There is a need to push for stories that can resonate with the fans.

Here's how the fans reacted to the empty stands on AEW Dynamite -
