Tony Khan spoke about the growth of AEW since its formation in May 2019. After completing its 6th year of formation, Tony spoke about the evolution of the promotion. He claimed to be proud of the run and hoped for the continuation of the company's growth. He claimed AEW's run in the last six years to be unprecedented in many ways.

Khan opened up on the TV shows with partners such as TBS and TNT over the years. He felt hitting some historical milestones showed AEW was here to stay. The fact that AEW completed its 289th episode was considered as a thing to be proud of.

"I'm really proud of the run we’re having right now. We’ve been on TBS and TNT now for over five years and have hit some real historical milestones, and we’re still running very strong today. I look back at the history of wrestling, and I see where AEW stands, and it makes me really proud to be one of the companies that’s having this really long run on television. It’s unprecedented in many ways," said Tony Khan with ScreenRant.

AEW crosses WCW Nitro's total number of episodes

AEW recently crossed the total number of episodes of the WCW Nitro, which was regarded to be a competitor of WWE and had better ratings than the Stamford-based promotion at one point. AEW's milestone has been regarded great for the Wrestling community.

The AEW Boss was all positive about what the future holds for his promotion. With some of the top wrestlers in the world like Jon Moxley, Adam Copeland, Swerve Strickland, Samoa Joe, and others working for them, the future of AEW seems good.
