Kenny Omega raised his concerns about celebrities like singers, musicians, and YouTubers getting more preference in major wrestling shows over the pure wrestlers. The AEW Superstar feared a scenario where the likes of Logan Paul and Mr Beast could potentially headline the main event of WrestleMania in a couple of years, going by how WWE is involving them in major sequences.

Omega's statement came after Travis Scott was repeatedly involved in some of the main event sequences of major WWE PLEs like the Elimination Chamber and Night 2 of WrestleMania in 2025. Scott got a chance to feature with John Cena and The Rock in the Chamber and interfered in Cena's win against Cody at Mania.

"I've said it before; I don’t think — I don’t know if I’ve ever said it publicly or not, but I mean, I think we’re headed on a path where it’s like, a couple of WrestleManias down the road, the main event’s going to be Logan Paul vs Mr Beast. It’s like, what is the wrestling acumen? How many miles have they put into it? It’s like, does it matter? This is the process of evolution," said Omega in an interview with Adi Shankar.

He further spoke about his preference as an individual at the age of 42. The AEW superstar felt health was more important for him than money. He claimed to be more cautious and still felt the need to be cautious about himself.

"I don’t care about the money. You need to be healthy.' And this is coming from someone who understands his own mortality now. I’m being way more cautious, and as cautious as I am, Barry is still more cautious than I am. Whether it costs me or him money or not, that’s not the primary concern. At all," Omega added.
