Ricochet and Je'Von Evans engaged with each other in a heated war of words on X. The AEW and the WWE NXT stars brought Shawn Michaels and Tony Khan into the conversation. It all started when a user named Dwayne Yamamoto on X claimed Je'Von to be the best young wrestler across promotions and did not ask to fight in the comments.
Ricochet, whose current character in kayfabe is to pick up fights on random people, claimed he would squash Evans. The tweet was deleted by Ricochet. However, Evans already recognized it, and replied saying he just trained in the performance centre with Shawn Michaels and additionally took a dig at Tony Khan.

Ricochet replied to the comment saying he was learning with HBK since Evans was 12 years old. He boasted his record as a champion and claimed to win multiple titles. Evans replied to him saying it was in the past and his present was wrestling in front of 2000 people for a 'crackhead', and regarded himself to be an upgrade.
"You're Wrestling In Front Of 2,000 People, Every Week, For A Crackhead" - Je'Von Evans to Ricochet
"Brother, I was learning from Shawn Michaels when you was like 12. Then went on to become multiple time Champion. Let me know when you win one, little boy. And yeah, if Tony asked me, I'd definitely beat yo ahh, cuh," Ricochet wrote on X.
"You Learned From HBK When I Was 12 And Became A Multiple Time Champion. Now, You're Wrestling In Front Of 2,000 People, Every Week, For A Crackhead. Talk About An Upgrade Am I Right?? #TheYoungOG," Evans replied to Ricochet.
The young wrestler concluded their war of words by wondering if Tony pays him enough attention in AEW. "Sounds Like Mr. Khan Isn't Giving You Enough Attention. Sooooooooo," Evans added.
