AJ Francis has become the new Digital Media Champion. He won the title which was introduced for the first time in 2021. Held by Laredo Kid from the 20th of April 2024, the former WWE Superstar managed to win the prized title. In WWE, he was with the ring name Top Dolla. In September 2023, he was released by the Stamford-based company.
On the 13th of January 2024, AJ made his debut in TNA at Hard to Kill. Laredo was impressive as a champion for over a month. During the 20th year anniversary of TNA, Francis became just the third wrestler to win the belt since its rebranding. Only Crazzy Steve and Laredo had managed to win it posy rebranding. Jordynne Grace was the maiden winner of the title in 2021.
Before rebranding, many top stars in the company had clinched the title. It includes some big names like Joe Hendry, Matt Caradona, Brian Myers, Rich Swann, Tommy Dreamer, and Kenny King. Francis joined the elite league of wrestlers to have held the title at least once. He has been paired with Rich Swann, one of the former WWE Superstars, in his stint in TNA so far.

It has been a historic night for TNA as it is the 20th anniversary of the company. Over the years, it has produced some of the best wrestlers in the world like AJ Styles, Caradona, and others. There have also been many upgrades in the company over the years that have only made the viewing experience for the fans a better one. The last few months for TNA have been great.
The company witnessed the biggest ever night with a match of its kind where all the champions were up against the non-champions. Rebranding of the company took place a few months back. It also joined TKO group and the wrestlers are getting opportunity of collaboration with WWE. The company released the video of its journey from 2004 to 2024 with a comparison footage.
