TNA Wrestling's story has taken another turn in 2024, with a series of high-profile exits in recent days. On May 30, "PWInsider" reported that longstanding creative director David Sahadi was let go by the firm after 18 years of service, with RD Evans, the guy who was considered the head of creative in recent months, also following Sahadi out the door.

TNA Wrestling has undergone a big reorganisation, as the corporation recently parted ways with numerous key figures in the backstage department. One of these exits is Lou D'Angeli, whose reason for leaving has finally been disclosed. As previously reported, Lou D'Angeli, also known as Lou E. Dangerously in ECW, has left TNA Wrestling as part of the company's most recent series of departures.

According to PWInsider, insiders within TNA claimed that the relationship had been strained in recent months. This was partly due to the company's delayed process for verifying event dates and locations. Lou D'Angeli has been campaigning for TNA to break away from their typical habit of running the same cities on successive nights, but management did not pursue this tactic.

There were also concerns with dates and cities being conveyed to personnel and wrestlers, only for the schedule to be altered many times. As the head of the live events section, D'Angeli faced the difficult task of being questioned by wrestlers and crew without clear answers from higher-ups in the corporation.

Anthem authorities eventually informed the decision

"Fightful" was also notified of another departure in a similar department to those who have previously departed, with all of the recent departures being due to Anthem Sports' desire to change course for its live event markets. These individuals, along with Scott D'Amore, are among the high-ranking personnel let go this year.

Last week, Anthem officials met with D'Angeli and amicably agreed to split ways. Anthem authorities eventually informed D'Angeli of the decision, which he allegedly accepted. As previously mentioned, RD Evans also left TNA Wrestling. Regardless, we'll have to wait and see what the future holds for D'Angeli since his exit remains unexpected.
