Bryan Danielson and Mariah May qualified for the semifinal of the Owen Hart tournament. The qualifying round of the prestigious tournament continued as some of the matches turned out to be great. The fans were invested in the matches which had some good moments. Bryan and May beat Shingo Takagi and Saraya in their respective matches.

Both the matches turned out to be great. Shingo delivered a great performance. His super plex was on full display but was countered well by Bryan. The former WWE Superstar was brilliant too. His moved like back suplex and lock sealed the deal. The crowd was behind both the wrestlers and asked for a great match.

The fans were not disappointed as Daniel delivered yet another great match. There was even support for both wrestlers. Takagi came close to beating Danielson but the latter proved to be a bit too good. In the end, the star wrestler claimed a win via submission. He will be up against PAC in the semifinal later this week.

In the other match, Mariah May emerged victorious against Saraya in a decent match. May has been delivering good matches along with a great character of late. It was good to see her deliver another good performance. It was a brief match but May was good. Harley Cameron tried to assist Saraya but Timeless Toni Storm interrupted with an equaliser.

It seemed like a match to be won by Mariah. And she did win it by delivering her signature move flash pin. Toni was happy for May as she qualified for the semifinal. It boosted the confidence of the women's champion ahead of her match against Mina Shirakawa.

Kyle Fletcher and Serpentico had a match between each other to kick start the PLE. It was a brief match and Fletcher emerged victorious. The fans were not highly invested in it though both of then gave a good performance. The emerging star delivered his finisher turnbuckle brainbuster and pinned Serpentico to claim a win.
