Real Madrid resumed training on Thursday after their impressive victory against Real Sociedad, bringing in healthy news with Kylian Mbappe’s return to the squad. The French striker had missed the previous session due to a dental procedure and did not travel to San Sebastian. However, he fully participated in the training session with the team without any issues.
Kylian Mbappé is focusing on Real Madrid's upcoming match against Real Betis this Saturday. The 26-year-old has been working hard alongside teammates who were rested during the recent cup victory over Real Sociedad.
Kylian Mbappe, Valverde and Courtois is back in the squad
He wasn't alone in getting a break; Thibaut Courtois and Federico Valverde also sat out that game. Both players are anticipated to return to Carlo Ancelotti's starting lineup at the Estadio Benito Villamarín, bringing added strength to the team.
Ancelotti is set to welcome back three crucial starters following a brief rest to prepare for a demanding schedule ahead. However, the Italian manager is still grappling with injury concerns. The latest setback involves Dani Ceballos, who not only will miss the opportunity to face his former club, Betis, this weekend but also faces approximately two months on the sidelines.
"He's a special talent, and when he's fit, he lifts the whole team," Ancelotti said.
Jude Bellingham’s suspension adds to an already long list of absentees, which includes Eder Militao, Dani Carvajal, and Jesus Vallejo, all confirmed to be out.
“Kylian Mbappé is back. He’s available to play and excited to help as always”. Ancelotti said.
Ancelotti has consistently praised Mbappe, noting that he is a unique talent who energizes the entire team when fit.
With this in mind, the manager is counting on that brilliance as they face an important Betis side.
