After taking a hit in the second half of Bayern Munich's 3-3 tie with Eintracht Frankfurt, Harry Kane was replaced. After taking a knock to the right leg and needing treatment, the England captain was replaced shortly after by Mathys Tel. During the international break, England's UEFA Nations League matches against Greece and Finland will require careful monitoring of Kane's fitness. It is unknown if he is going to be able to participate in Lee Carsley's team.

Vincent Kompany spoke to the media about Harry Kane’s injury as he said, “It’s still too early to say what Kane has. We hope it’s nothing serious. Same goes for (Dayot) Upamecano. This week was a real test for our team to see how dominant we can be against these teams three times a week.”

After this 3-3 draw, Bayern Munich is still unbeaten at home this season and leads the Bundesliga heading into the international break. However, they are now tied for second place with RB Leipzig.

How did Eintracht Frankfurt’s match against Bayern Munich pan out?

In the fifteenth minute of play, Kim Min-Jae's flawless finish off of Thomas Muller's cutback gave the Bavarians the lead. The lead, though, was short-lived as Omar Marmoush scored by putting the ball beyond Manuel Neuer, who, to be honest, should have done more to halt Raphael Guerreiro's careless marking.

In the game's 35th minute, Marmoush once more succeeded in pushing past Dayot Upamecano in a counterattack, finding Hugo Ekitike, whose effort beat Neuer at the near post. This time, however, it was Bayern's turn to swiftly equalize as Upamecano headed home in the six-yard box following a magnificent save from Michael Olise's shot by Eintracht Frankfurt goalkeeper Kaua Santos.

After the interval, Kompany's players appeared to have changed, lessening Eintracht's danger on the counterattack. The French attacker scored during the 53rd minute after a deft assist from Harry Kane, capping another outstanding display. Ten minutes after Harry Kane was substituted due to injury, Bayern maintained the advantage until the final seconds of added time, when Marmoush scored his second goal and gave the home team a point.
