Wojciech Szczesny saves his son's bicycle kick

During the trophy celebrations, Wojciech Szczesny and his son Liam were spotted on the pitch with a ball. Szczesny's son displayed great ball control and pulled off a sensational bicycle kick. The kid connected his shot, but it was adeptly saved by his father between the posts. The right-foot save from Szczesny left the crowd in attendance heartbroken. The moment also amused the fans and gave the father-child duo their memorable moment.

Wojciech Szczesny's journey at FC Barcelona has been nothing short of sensational. After hanging up his gloves in 2024, the Polish veteran came out of retirement to help a Barcelona side that was plagued with injuries and financial discrepancies. His introduction to the team dramatically changed the club's overview. Szczesny had a very influential first season at Barcelona, where he kept 11 clean sheets and contributed to his side's 21-match unbeaten streak. His talismanic performance helped Barcelona progress in the UCL.

Szczesny participated in Barcelona's previous clash against Villarreal, where the Catalans lost 2-3. This marked Barcelona's first loss in the domestic league in 2025. Szczesny is going to feature in the final match of the season against Athletic Club. Although Szczesny has been provided a contract extension, he has yet to put pen to paper. Barcelona fans will be hoping the veteran keeper stays for one more season.
