Ronald Araújo and Inigo Martinez fell from the team bus
FC Barcelona celebrated their domestic treble with an open bus parade after winning La Liga on May 16th. The club has emerged as the best in Spain, having dethroned Real Madrid in all of the domestic competitions.
FC Barcelona completed their quest for the domestic treble by winning the La Liga after beating Espanyol 2-0. The team had already won the Super Copa De España and the Copa Del Rey by defeating Real Madrid in the finals.
Barcelona's defenders fell from the open parade bus
The Catalans won their 28th La Liga title, dethroning Real Madrid from last season. Lamine Yamal and Fermin Lopez were the stars who scored to win the La Liga for Barcelona with two matches still left in the kitty. To commemorate such a great season, the team organised an open bus parade from Camp Nou to the Arc De Triomf. The parade was attended by over 600 thousand fans who marched along with their favourite team.
During the open bus parade celebrations, both the centre-backs of Barcelona's backline, Inigo Martinez and Ronald Araújo, stumbled and fell off the bus. The incident amused the fans in attendance as well as the ones on social media. Araújo slipped in an attempt to kick a ball into the crowd, and Inigo Martinez fell while trying to dance with the trophy.

FC Barcelona will look to end the season on a high when they go toe-to-toe against Villarreal in their penultimate fixture of the 2024-25 season. The team is yet to receive the La Liga trophy, which will be awarded to them after the conclusion of the fixture.
