Following Monday's open training session for Manchester City in Florida, a sweet scene unfolded when Jack Grealish was approached by an Aston Villa supporter who went onto the field to ask for his autograph.

City has lost both of its first-round preseason games, falling short of Celtic 4-3 last week and then falling short of AC Milan 3-2 on Saturday. Tuesday night's game against Pep Guardiola's former team, FC Barcelona, is scheduled to take place in Florida. The team has been busy getting ready to make up for their past two losses in the United States.

Jack Grealish greeted the fan and asked him, “Are you a Villa fan? You still like me though?” and the fan replied by saying that, “Yes”

Several players signed autographs following Monday's open training session; Grealish was taken aback by a young fan sporting an Aston Villa shirt.  Following his historic transfer from his boyhood team, Villa, to Manchester City in 2021, Grealish became the very first English football player to cost £100 million.

A number of Man City players visited Universal Studios Orlando during the weekend, demonstrating that the players have been enjoying many Florida tourist sites in addition to working hard during their pre-season tour.

Joao Cancelo set to join FC Barcelona from Manchester City?

As they continue to pursue bringing back Joao Cancelo from the English Premier League winners, Manchester City may get a new offer from FC Barcelona. The 30-year-old full-back is still enjoying his summer break before the new season begins, and it is unclear where he will play professionally starting with the 2024–2025 season in Europe.

Cancelo's relationship broke down halfway through Manchester City's championship season, and he is still not part of the first team, and Pep Guardiola has no plans to bring him back into the fold. With the requirement of a £18 million move in 2025, FC Barcelona has now made a new offer that would see them paying Manchester City another £7 million loan price for Joao Cancelo's services in the 2024–2025 season.
