"Cristiano Ronaldo might play for one of the teams as well. There are discussions with some clubs. So, if any clubs are watching and are interested in hiring Ronaldo for the Club World Cup, who knows? There are still a few weeks." Infantino said on stream.
The newly revamped version of the Club World Cup has been Infantino's dream project for several years. Despite all the promotions of the event, the hype appears to be missing and hence the president appeared with IShowSpeed. The interest in the tournament remains relatively low, despite the involvement of some of the world's largest clubs and players.
Although Cristiano Ronaldo's future at Al Nassr remains bleak, the Portuguese captain may consider switching to a club participating in the event in order to compete against his eternal rival Lionel Messi.
