Premier League football club Chelsea had a great outing at Stadion Miejski in the finals of the UEFA Conference League. The Blues humbled their opposition in the finals of Europe's third-tier competition.
Chelsea defeated La Liga Club Real Betis in the final by a scoreline of 4-1 to cap off a decent season. The Blues have already qualified for the UEFA Champions League next season.
The match started on a high note for Real Betis as Ezzalzouli netted their first goal in the ninth minute of play. Real Betis were able to hold onto their lead after the first half.

In the second half, the tale took a drastic turn as Chelsea not only breached Real Betis's defence but overwhelmed them with relentless attacks. Chelsea scored the equaliser in the 65th minute when Enzo Fernandez capitalised on a wonderful assist by Cole Palmer to net his goal. After scoring the goal as the team indulged in celebrations, the captain was spotted playfully slapping fellow teammate Rece James.

Chelsea went on to take the lead in the 70th minute, as Cole Palmer again provided an incredible assist to Nicholas Jackson, who headed home the ball into the net. Chelsea scored their third in the 83rd minute via Jordan Sancho who curled in a beautiful goal.
Chelsea scored their fourth and final goal in the first minute of stoppage time via Moises Caicedo. The Blues thus ended an eventful season with silverware. Despite it being a third-tier league, the win meant a lot for the team who will contest in the top division next season.
