Myles Lewis-Skelly seemed to add to Manchester City's misfortune by mocking Erling Haaland, imitating his celebration after scoring his inaugural goal for the club on Sunday. The 18-year-old netted Arsenal's third goal in a commanding 5-1 victory over Manchester City at the Emirates. The youngster was the star of the epic show that unfolded at the Emirates.

Lewis-Skelly makes himself known to Haaland

Lewis-Skelly, who was able to participate following the successful appeal of his controversial red card against Wolves, performed Haaland's signature celebration by sitting in a meditative pose on the ground.

This moment occurred after a prior encounter between the Arsenal youngster and Haaland during the Gunners' 2-2 draw with Manchester City at the Etihad in September. When tensions rose between Haaland and Gabriel, Lewis-Skelly stepped in to support his teammate.

"Who the f*** are you?" Haaland said to Skelly after the conclusion of the fixture in September.

Haaland, responded to Lewis-Skelly's presence with a dismissive gesture, indicating he preferred to keep the focus on the original confrontation.

Lewis-Skelly received a well-deserved standing ovation when he was substituted by Arteta in the 90th minute on Sunday. His artistic goal, achieved by cutting inside before unleashing a shot that Stefan Ortega could only parry off the post, helped put Arsenal ahead 3-1. The team delivered a fantastic performance, ultimately winning 5-1.

Martin Odegaard opened the scoring for the hosts with a well-timed strike, taking advantage of a mistake by Manuel Akanji. In the second half, Erling Haaland levelled the match momentarily but City's defence faltered afterwards.

Arsenal responded quickly, regaining the lead just one minute later with a deflected effort from Thomas Partey. Lewis-Skelly then extended the home side's advantage, providing them with a comfortable two-goal cushion.

In the latter stages, it was complete domination as Kai Havertz and Ethan Nwaneri added further goals, sealing an outstanding victory for Mikel Arteta's side.
