Tottenham Hotspur's star Son Heung-min files a police complaint against a woman over 'fake pregnancy'

One of the best footballers from the Asian continent, Son Heung-min, sought help from the police after being blackmailed in his country. Tottenham Hotspur's star was allegedly blackmailed by a man and a woman. 

The news sparked waves of discussion about the footballer who is known to be one of the kindest, both on and off the pitch. As per reports, the woman was pregnant with Son Heung Min's child for months.

Son Heung-Min filed case against a woman 

Son Heung-min was reportedly approached by a woman who claimed she was pregnant with his child. A police station in Seoul has confirmed the arrest of a 20-year-old woman under suspicion of extortion. Additionally, a man has also been arrested for attempted extortion. The duo allegedly contacted Son, demanding money in exchange for their silence, as reported by Yonhap News.

The South Korean baller is yet to be married. He filed a complaint against the duo last week. As per reports, the pair tried to extract millions of Korean won from the footballer.

Son Heung-min has previously dated two Korean pop stars, Bang Min-ah and Yoo So-young. However, he never entered a serious relationship with either of them.

"My father says this and I agree, as well. When you marry, the number one will be family, wife and kids, and then football."  Son said earlier.

"I want to make sure that while I play at the top level, football can be number one. You don’t know how long you can play at the top level. When you retire, or when you are 33 or 34, you can still have a long life with your family." He added.

More details will unfold when the case moves into the next stage - investigation. For now, Son Heung Min looks set to lead his club Tottenham Hotspurs to their third Europa League title when they go toe-to-toe against rivals Manchester United at San Mames.
