Bayern Munich's veteran Thomas Müller made a promise to the team's star striker, Harry Kane, following the conclusion of their fixture against RB Leipzig. Bayern Munich are very close to lifting the Bundesliga crown this season.

Thomas Müller posts his promise on Instagram story 

English striker Harry Kane was on the verge of celebrating the first trophy of his career on Saturday when Yussuf Poulsen netted a 94th-minute equaliser, securing a dramatic 3-3 draw for RB Leipzig against Bayern Munich. The result meant the Bavarian giants will have to wait to be crowned Bundesliga champions for the 2024-25 season. Bayern currently holds a nine-point lead over Leverkusen with two matches remaining.

Vincent Kompany's team has the chance to secure the top position if Bayer Leverkusen does not win against Freiburg on Sunday. Conversely, if Leverkusen emerges victorious, Bayern Munich will have to ensure they do not lose to Borussia Monchengladbach on the 10th of May at the Allianz Arena.

The club's veteran Thomas Müller made an enthusiastic post on his Instagram story where he promised to celebrate the title along with Harry Kane in the upcoming fixture next week.

Harry Kane's trophy drought is on the verge of coming to an end as Bayern Munich stands just inches behind this season's Bundesliga crown. The English striker has contributed greatly to his team's success, having netted 24 goals in 29 appearances across European club competitions in the 2024-25 season.
