Ousmane Dembélé may miss the second leg of UCL semifinals due to an injury
The attacker netted the only goal in the first leg of the UCL semifinals at the Emirates, but his availability for the match in Paris is now uncertain due to a hamstring injury incurred during the second half of Tuesday's game in north London.
Ousmane Dembélé has been in the form of his life this season. He had recorded 43 goal contributions that included 33 goals and 10 assists across all European competitions.
The club manager, Luis Enrique, has asserted that the striker is sure to miss the next Ligue One fixture, with the title being already confirmed. His availability for the second leg UCL semi finals fixture against Arsenal at Parc Des Princes is also under the clouds.
"We're going to try to get Dembele back on the pitch. If Ousmane can play, that's better, not if he doesn't, we'll still be a real team. We've been saying that since the start of the season," Luis said.
Recent reports indicate that Dembélé has sustained a minor hamstring injury. The reports also suggest that he will rest over the next few days with the aim of recovering by Wednesday.
