Leroy Sané to remain at Allianz Arena

Leroy Sané was about to become a free agent in the coming summer transfer window. He was also linked to several Premier League clubs like Liverpool and Arsenal. The German international previously earned €20 million while playing for the Bavarian club. However, reports indicate that his salary will substantially decrease to €10 million, with the potential to rise to around €15 million if he meets certain performance criteria (not disclosed).

According to Sky Germany, Bayern Munich and  Leroy Sane are in the final phase of working on the new contract. The new contract will see Sane remaining with Bayern Munich until the summer of 2028. The announcement of this renewal is expected from the German club in the coming few weeks.

Additionally, the report indicates that Sané has turned down all other offers and has voluntarily reduced his salary to remain with the Bavarian giants.

Leroy Sané switched from Manchester City to Bayern Munich in 2020. He has since represented the club in 150 fixtures and scored 39 goals. Former Manchester City star is also on track to win the Bundesliga crown this season.
