The Brazilian has exceeded all expectations and had a major impact this season for the Catalan club, contributing 19 goals and 11 assists in just 27 appearances. He has expressed a strong desire for the team to pursue their goal of securing a sixth European crown, with their last Champions League title coming in 2015 against Juventus.

Barcelona is currently positioned second in the 36-team revamped Champions League group phase, showing a creditor performance with five wins and only one loss in six matches. This strong record puts them in a favourable position to advance to the round of 16.

Raphinha predicts Barcelona's finals  opposition

The captain of Barcelona has expressed his determination for the team to compete vigorously for this year's UEFA Champions League title. He is optimistic about their chances and believes they can make it all the way to the final, which is set to be held at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany, in May.

Raphinha acknowledged that Manchester City could indeed be their opponent in an interview with Adri Conteras.

"My prediction for the Champions League final? Barcelona vs. Manchester City," said Raphinha.

Barca boss Flick, clearly articulated that many teams aspire to win Europe’s premier competition, but emphasized that his squad must put in the necessary hard work to achieve that goal.

Barcelona currently ranks third in La Liga, trailing leaders Atletico Madrid and second-place Real Madrid. However, they have achieved some great results this season, including a stunning 4-0 victory over Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu in October. Most recently, they secured a 5-2 win against Los Blancos in the Supercopa de Espana.
