Liverpool remains at the Top of the Standings
The current Premier League leaders edged past Girona as Mo Salah scored a penalty kick from the spot in the 63rd minute. The 1-0 win ensured the Reds held onto their top position in the UEFA Champions League standings.
Real Madrid makes an important comeback

At Veltins Arena, although Shakhtar Donetsk stunned the German giants Bayern Munich with an opener in the fifth minute, it was all about Bayern in the remainder of the match as they slammed goals one after the other, coming from Laimer, Muller, Oliese and Musiala as Bayern Munich won the fixture 5-1.
Leverkusen stole a win in the 90th minute
In a fixture involving two top 8 teams from the round-robin phase, Inter-Milan and Bayer Leverkusen were heading towards a draw, but N Mukiele scored a stunner at the end of regular time in the 90th minute to steal a 1-0 for Leverkusen.
