Real Madrid showed their impressive form in the semifinals, securing a convincing 3-0 victory over Mallorca. Barcelona had faced significant issues with consistency throughout the year. However, under Hansi Flick, the team has demonstrated exceptional attacking prowess this season.

Barcelona tamed the Galacticos at Jeddah

The Galacticos stormed into the finals with a commanding start, securing a 1-0 lead just five minutes in at Jeddah. Vinicius Junior seized the opportunity, winning the ball off Casado and launching a lethal attack for Madrid. He made a precise pass to Mbappe on his right, who charged into the box and found the net with confidence.

Barcelona, eager to claw back into the match, pressed relentlessly for an equaliser, forcing Real Madrid goalkeeper Courtois into a series of saves.

Barcelona's Wonderkid was instrumental in the club's resurgence during the finals. Lamine Yamal made a statement by scoring the equaliser in Jeddah.

The team responded emphatically, netting two rapid goals. Veteran striker Robert Lewandowski converted a penalty in the 36th minute, and just moments later, Catalan skipper Raphinha struck in the 39th minute off a delicious cross from full-back Kounde.

Barçelona's left-back Balde also joined the goal-fest as he netted a goal in 10 minutes of extra time in the first half.  Barcelona was relentless in their pursuit of humbling the Galacticos. The Catalans skipper, Raphinha, scored his second foxing of Tchouameni and found the net early in the second half.

Barcelona's unprecedented pressure came to a halt when their goalkeeper Szczęsny was given his marching orders after he fouled on Mbappe just outside the box. Rodrygo tried to instill life into the team as he scored the second goal for Madrid against Barcelona, who had to see off the remainder of the match with 10 men.

10-men Barcelona humbled the Galacticos at Jeddah with an astounding 5-2 scoreline.
