Manchester City have become the English Premier League champion for the 6th time in seven years under Pep Guardiola. The Sky Blues have made the impossible look possible as they won their fourth consecutive PL title, in the history of the 136 years of the league as no other team has achieved a similar kind of record before. On the final day of the league, they needed a win to earn the championship and managed easily by defeating West Ham United 3-1. 

Guardiola has been one of the finest managers of all time, with the Spaniard having shown his tactical masterclass in three different countries now, starting in Spain, Germany, and now England. He has a year of contract left with the club, but as per the recent news, he has no intention of renewing the contract further and wants to leave England as he believes he has achieved every possible thing with City. 

The 53-year-old manager has also been named as the 2023/24 Barclays Manager of the Season following his latest historic campaign with the Etihad Stadium club. The Spanish manager under pressure has come on top with his team, as they were not the league leaders for most of the campaign, and towards the business end he yet again proved fantastic with his tactics and won all their games in 2024 to be crowned as champions

After winning the trophy for the best manager of the league the former Barcelona footballer said, he has been honoured by winning the trophy and the award shows the determination, hard work, and passion of all the club members that helped win the league. He has been proud of his players the way they performed throughout the season winning three titles with UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, and now the PL. 

This was his fifth 'PL Manager of the Season' award and the tactician insisted he would like to share the prize with the likes of fellow nominees Mikel Arteta and Jurgen Klopp. He stated, "I want to share it, yes or yes! Especially with Mikel (Arteta) for the incredible job he has done until the last game, bringing us to our limits. Of course, for Jurgen (Klopp), for the unforgettable battles for many, many years."
