FC Barcelona have had a poor season in the European circuit. The Bluagranes failed to win a single trophy in the 2023/24 season. They will finish second in the league table with one game in hand, as their arch-rivals Real Madrid won their 36th La Liga trophy. However, the Catalonian club will look to find the solutions in the next season, as they are set to sell some of their footballers to bring in some money and have a good financial balance.

However, there has been some controversy with the club after Xavi decided to leave the club at the end of the season. Then the Spaniard stayed at the club after having a meeting with the management. After a few weeks, there was again news that the club hierarchy was not happy with the 44-year-old manager. The former footballer then denied all the baseless rumours about the fact that he had been sacked.

As per the recent developments and reports by Fabrizio Romano, the manager's future has being discussed internally at Barcelona with meeting between president Laporta and the manager expected to be crucial to decide on his future. The club have one game left and will be travelling Pizjuan Stadium to face Sevilla. Barca will look to finish the season high with a win on Saturday.

Who will replace Xavi if he leaves Barca?

Former Mexico defender and club legend Rafa Marquez has been in the radar for the club over a few times now. He has been the favourite to replace his former teammate in the club. Currently he is in service with the B team of the club and his tenure is set to expire in 2024 June. He has been in charge of 77 games for the club and won 37 games and lost 20 which is equal to the draws as well, with a PPM of 1.70.

On the other hand former Bayern Munich coach Hansi Flick is also an option for the club, as the management knows his capibility of managing a big club as he won the sextuple with the German club during his tenure and have been one of the most successful coach for the Bavarians. The master tactician is now without a club and can join the Spanish Giants.
