West Ham United made an official announcement on Friday where they confirmed the signing of Indian winger Rahul KP, who will represent the Premier League club in an upcoming seven-a-side football tournament in the United States.
Rahul KP added an important milestone as the first Indian player to participate in The Soccer Tournament (TST). The 25-year-old currently plays for Odisha FC in the Indian Super League and has earned seven international caps with the Blue Tigers.

The soccer tournament, popularly abbreviated as TST, is a 7-player-a-side football tournament. The tournament follows a unique format of winner-takes-all. The prize money for the event is set at a mammoth $1 million. The latest edition of TST is set to feature 48 teams from top European divisions. It will include clubs like AFC Bournemouth, Borussia Dortmund, Villarreal, and Atlético de Madrid. The tournament will run for a week in North Carolina.
