Speaking of the action of the first ODI between India and England, the visiting skipper Jos Buttler won the toss and decided to bat first. The Three Lions were all out at the score of 248 runs in 47.4 overs. Skipper Buttler and young batter Jacob Bethell scored the crucial half-centuries, with 52 and 51 runs, respectively, alongside 43 runs off just 26 balls scored by star opener and wicketkeeper-batter, Phil Salt.
