Leo Messi discussed the future of his career, the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and the reality that he does not intend to be a coach after he puts up his boots alongside '433' in a conversation with Fabrizio Romano. In actuality, the Argentine celebrity is rather explicit about it.
Fabrizio Romano asked the Inter Miami superstar about his other hobbies and the different sports he likes apart from football. The former FC Barcelona superstar said, “I love padel, tennis, basketball, but the thing I love most is padel.”
Lionel Messi also spoke to Fabrizio Romano about the glorious season that Inter Miami had in the MLS. Messi revealed his feelings and also believes his side are the favourites to lift the MLS title after the play-offs come to an end.
The former Paris Saint-Germain winger said that, "We were happy and celebrated the achievement, because it was something difficult and important (to win the regular season). We are aware that the real title we want is the MLS. During the year we had many very silly mistakes that we can avoid and that in these playoffs cannot happen to us because they can cost you elimination. I think we are one of the favorites. There are also tough teams that are not going to give us anything, but I think the other teams also respect us."
“I wouldn't like to be a coach” : Lionel Messi
Lionel Messi’s future is always up for debate but there is one plan that he has certainly ruled out and that is being a manager after retirement. He doesn’t intend to become a coach as he likes playing and training much more than that.
The Argentina skipper added, "I wouldn't like to be a coach, but I'm still not sure what I'd like to do in the future. I value much more than before everything I do on a day-to-day basis, so I just think about playing, training and having fun".
