Jurgen Klopp has made fun of Erik ten Hag's handling of Jadon Sancho. He believes more time ought to have been granted to the athlete. Sancho, who spent £80 million to join Manchester United in 2021, went through the most difficult time in his career there.

The forward worked hard to show off his skills, and when Erik ten Hag showed in, he was finally allowed some opportunity to find his form. But when the Dutch manager critiqued Sancho's training performance the previous year, everything went south. This time, the player didn't hold back and used Twitter to lash out at the Dutch boss. This caused a rift to develop in their relationship.

When Sancho was barred from Manchester United games and even practice, the situation worsened. Additionally, he was not allowed to attend the club's facilities, and in January, he was placed on loan. The former Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, believes Ten Hag ought to have given the attacker more time when everyone was condemning him.

Jurgen Klopp said, ”If the whole world loses trust and faith in the player, then the manager has to be the one behind I cannot the player. I cannot just buy into the useless stuff did by the way. Buying a player for  £80m then sending him out on loan.”

Will Jadon Sancho be a success at Chelsea this season?

There will be differing opinions on Klopp's remarks because many would contend that Ten Hag gave him ample time to get back to his best, but perhaps that was not the case. Then the ex-Ajax manager's tolerance was wearing thin and had to make a stern decision regarding him.

On the other hand, Sancho played for Manchester United for three seasons. The athlete, who cost Manchester United a lot of money to sign, was unable to perform at his best while playing for the club. He performed so poorly that he descended even further in the hierarchy.  He is currently on loan at Chelsea and it seems improbable that United will intend to have him rejoin the team. It will be intriguing to find out what the club in North London has in store for him.
