Arsenal players are completely unfazed by Manchester City striker Erling Haaland's goal-scoring rampage, midfielder Jorginho confidently stated, emphasizing the north London side's unwavering confidence ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash with City.

City has enjoyed a flawless campaign in the league so far, while Arsenal has secured three wins and a draw. Following his incredible nine goals in four league games, including two hat tricks, Haaland has impressively scored 99 goals from 103 appearances for City across all competitions.

The Norway striker will be aiming for his century in Wednesday's Champions League clash against Inter Milan, while Arsenal is ready to begin their European campaign at Atalanta on Thursday and prepare to face City at the Etihad on Sunday.

Jorginho's admiration for Haaland

Jorginho praised Halland's goal-scoring abilities and mentioned how it had started to amuse everyone. Joginho revealed watching Premier League games and his love for the competition in general. Jorginho disclosed that the Gunners keep an eye on their rival, City's matches, as well, although they don't let the results get into their heads. Jorginho pointed out it's important to stay focused on their work rather than seeing what other teams do on the pitch.

"Erling scoring again ... it is starting to make us laugh; we look because we watch all the games, and we love the Premier League."- Jorginho said. "We watch [City] as well, which is normal. It doesn't get to our head. We need to focus on us and that is what we are trying to do."- he added.

Jorginho's take on Arsenal's Performance

Jorginho explained the increasing levels of trust and understanding that come among players the more matches they play together. He reveals that all the players in Arsenal's roster want to improve and he believes many good things can happen with this team.

Jorginho lauded Arsenal's improved mentality, citing their gritty 1-0 win over Tottenham despite missing key players like captain Martin Ødegaard and Declan Rice. He emphasized that Arsenal's mentality has significantly developed since last season.

Additionally, Arsenal finished second in the league last season, securing a 1-0 home victory and drawing 0-0 away in their league meetings with City.
