Yoane Wissa Opened the Scoreline in just 22 seconds

From the very start of the game, Brentford forcefully pushed ahead and penetrated a perilous area on the right side of the field. Vitaly Janelt's precise cross located Keane Lewis-Potter on the opposite side, from where he skillfully headed the ball back across the goal to Bryan Mbeumo.

City's defender John Stones and goalkeeper Ederson both made attempts to clear the ball, but regrettably, both efforts were unsuccessful, allowing the ball to reach Wissa right in his path.
