Inter Milan, the newly crowned Serie A winners, are reportedly looking to recruit Donny van de Beek from Manchester United during the summer. According to an article published by Spanish publication Fichajes, Inter Milan is interested in Donny van de Beek. Other European regulars, including Galatasaray and Real Sociedad, are reportedly interested in recruiting the dissatisfied Dutch midfielder from Manchester United during the summer transfer season.

Donny van de Beek has suffered a tough stint after signing with Manchester United from Ajax during a move costing €39 million in September 2020. The 27-year-old aimed to become a fixture in Manchester United's midfield. However, he has only started a few matches for the Red Devils during the last four years.

The Dutchman had wanted to improve his fortunes under Erik ten Hag, his former Ajax boss. However, game time eluded van de Beek until he moved to Eintracht Frankfurt on loan from Manchester United during the January transfer window.

The transition to the Bundesliga was also unsuccessful, with van de Beek playing only 357 minutes for Eintracht Frankfurt. So it's not unexpected that many reports suggest the dissatisfied Dutch playmaker is unlikely to finalise his permanent switch to Eintracht Frankfurt during this summer's transfer window. Nevertheless, a challenge in Serie A could be on the horizon.

Inter Milan set to face competition for Donny Van de Beek

According to Fichajes, Inter Milan has expressed interest in Donny van de Beek. The newly crowned Serie A champions have been searching for a midfielder, which only makes sense given Henrikh Mkhitaryan's age. So, Inter should prepare for life beyond the former Manchester United midfielder.

The dissatisfied Dutchman has resurfaced as a genuine target, with Inter Milan prepared to battle it out alongside Galatasaray and Real Sociedad for the player's signature. However, the Dutch playmaker's agency has recently indicated that he would not return to Ajax during the summer transfer window. Furthermore, if he signs with Inter Milan, the 27-year-old will be eligible to compete in the UEFA Champions League next season.
