Barcelona has their eye on 26-year-old Japanese midfielder Kaoru Mitoma, who is being pursued by Chelsea and Manchester United. Both Chelsea as well as Manchester United are reportedly eager to have Kaoru Mitoma join their squads, as Fichajes has revealed.

The 26-year-old winger for Brighton & Hove Albion has been a Premier League revelation, and other elite teams from over Europe, notably FC Barcelona, are vying for his signature. The player will set you back about €60 million in the interim.

During the summer of 2022 saw Kaoru Mitoma sign at Brighton & Hove Albion, and he hasn't looked back. He has made appearances for the Seagulls in 66 games overall, and he has even assisted on 27 goals.

In his debut campaign with the English club, he became an international sensation. The Japanese international helped to create eighteen goals in the previous campaign. Even though he hasn't been as reliable this time around, he was able to tally ten goal contributions.

Mitoma has garnered a lot of interest with her outstanding performances. Although he has a contract with Brighton that expires during the summer of 2027, there may be a chance he will leave in the summer.

Kauro Mitoma’s back-up already signed by Brighton & Hove Albion?

Ibrahim Osman from Nordsjaelland was just signed by the Seagulls. During the summer, the 19-year-old left midfielder will join the Seagulls. His arrival gives clubs interested in Mitoma's services a significant boost.

Brighton may now begin evaluating bids for their 26-year-old attacker after Osman joined the team in the summer. Even while rumors indicate they are open to the Japanese international leaving, it will only happen if they receive a substantial payment; it might just take €60 million to secure his departure.

Chelsea and Manchester United are prepared to compete for his services. Both teams require more offensive players. Even though they have elite wingers in their squad, they haven't been playing well lately. They are therefore thinking about making a deal for Mitoma, who has shown himself in the English Premier League throughout the last two seasons.
