Pascal Groß, the midfield player from Brighton & Hove Albion, is expected to sign with Borussia Dortmund for a reported 7–10 million euro fee. Following an outstanding season at Brighton & Hove Albion, Pascal Groß will probably sign a contract to join Borussia Dortmund. According to a number of German media, the 33-year-old and the Black and Yellows will shortly finalise an agreement. Groß will sign a two- to three-year contract with BVB, and Brighton will get a fee of about seven to ten million euros, according to BILD.

Groß's transfer to Borussia Dortmund came after Eintracht Frankfurt had already taken the lead in the race to recruit the Germany international. The midfielder will rejoin German football if the deal is approved, having played for Brighton & Hove Albion for the previous seven years.

This season, Groß, a Brighton midfielder, assisted 13 goals and scored five goals, showcasing his extraordinary inventiveness and skill in front of goal. He got a place in the Germany team for UEFA Euro 2024 as payback for his achievements.

How will Pascal Groß help out the new-look Borussia Dortmund team?

Groß's anticipated arrival should strengthen Borussia Dortmund's midfield, which struggled to exert control over games in the just finished campaign. The addition of Groß, who can play in a number of different roles both out wide and in the centre of the park, could turn out to be a very wise move by Sebastian Kehl and company.

Prior to signing with Brighton & Hove Albion in 2017, Pascal Groß played for TSG Hoffenheim, FC Ingolstadt, and Karlsruher SC. This season, he showed that, despite being 33 years old, he still has what it takes to consistently make an impact. And for the upcoming campaign, Borussia Dortmund will be hoping for a similar effect at the Westfalenstadion. The team needs creative players that can also contribute in both attack and defence. Pascal Groß is certainly a player that will help the side a lot.
