According to reports, Manchester United won't rule out Casemiro leaving. Despite his performances not even coming close to justifying such a large wage, the Brazilian remains the highest paid player for the Red Devils, making £350,000 a week. The midfielder's most recent subpar performance occurred against fierce rivals Liverpool at Old Trafford. The South American had to be replaced at halftime after being found guilty of both of Luis Diaz's goals in the first half.

The 32-year-old will no longer start for Erik ten Hag because Manuel Ugarte, a recent acquisition, is prepared to play following the international break. Casemiro is reportedly weighing his alternatives before making a potential loan move to Turkey since he is aware of his quickly diminishing stock, according to TBR Football.

While many European transfer windows are already closed, Turkey's is still open until September 13th, and United would be willing to let go of their struggling number 18 should the appropriate opportunity arise. Casemiro has contributed nine assists and twelve goals in 87 games across all competitions during his time at Old Trafford.

Casemiro set to move to Turkey?

If Fenerbahce hadn't already signed former player Sofyan Amrabat, Fenerbahce might have been a destination; still, Casemiro might still go to Galatasaray, their rivals. The 24-time Turkish champions recently pulled off a brilliant move by loaning themselves Napoli forward Victor Osimhen; if Okan Buruk's team does the same for Casemiro, it would be the completion of two of the unlikeliest deals ever.

Although Casemiro showed signs of decline the previous season, United was unable to let him go in the summer because of his strong preseason performance, which kept him in ten Hag's plans. According to Turkish writer Ali Naci Küçük, the Turkish powerhouses are eager to bolster their midfield options by bringing the former Real Madrid player on a season-long loan. Even though Casemiro's performance has been concerning, signing him would leave United lacking midfield choices.
