Upcoming Valorant Patch 9.08 is set to bring a lot of changes to the Sunset map, including some B site rework and shaking up some hiding spots for an ambush. Some minor changes allow B site to be more approachable, as it was previously a kill zone with little to no cover for the both teams. A site seems to be left unfazed.
As per the dev update, these changes are to be made in order to make B site more defendable. This can work for both teams but seems to be more tilted towards the attackers as they previously had much open area where the defenders could easily deny plant.

Here are all the changes coming to Sunset with Valorant Patch 9.08
B Site
First off, the entrance to the B site is now a bit narrow compared to the current version. The wall in the middle of the entrance is also removed in favour of a box that can only provide cover for the defending team. Attackers can be forced to use utility or take the risk of exposing themselves while clearing the angle. There is also no climbable stack beside the door.
Second, players now have a cubby inside the plant area with non-penetrable walls on both sides, once the attackers are inside, the new area can provide a safe spot to plant in most cases. The wall length beside the plant area is also increased for addition cover from defenders denying plant.
The last change in the B site is the long box sticking to the wall on the defender side is now removed due to no practical use. Instead, another box is added in the middle, acting as cover for both attackers and defenders.
Mid-changes
The middle of the map does not have that much of a change as players can see the palm tree removed by a box which can be used to cut off rotations or catch opponents off guard for a few rounds. The cover in the middle also have a new design and seems like players will be able to climb on it post update.
