Valorant Mobile gameplay leaked, Beta signup now live in China

A few days ago, fans got to have a first look at the Valorant Mobile and although it was simply the menu screen, players were finally hyped to see Valorant Mobile in action. Fast-forward a few days, fans have now spotted a limited alpha test registration website in China named VALM with the beta test starting mid-September.

First reported by Liquipedia APAC Wiki Manager subzidite2 on X, this will be the first time fans have seen an official ‘announcement’. Prior to this, the game was codenamed Project C which might sound weird unless you hear that the upcoming fighting game 2XKO by Riot Games was called Project L.

Several players are now trying to get inside the beta test, however, while many have been able to get to the registration part, they are unable to proceed. In order to prevent outsiders, Tencent have made it necessary to register with mobile numbers and since only numbers from China, people have been unable to proceed.

Valorant Mobile gameplay and details leaked

This doesn’t mean there are no leaks for Valorant Mobile gameplay. Another account on X going by sleepysoull__ has posted the gameplay while others have posted more details regarding what will reportedly be coming with the Valorant Mobile release.

The Valorant Mobile Beta currently have a 120 FPS option for devices that have the support alongside the classic maps from the PC and some even speculate there will be progression similar to the Valorant Console version. There will be no cross-play, which is a good thing.

As for availability, leaks suggest that once the Chinese beta concludes, players can expect Tencent to host another beta across different countries. However, it is hard to tell if the game will be available in India considering the Chinese video game controversy that banned PUBG Mobile and Free Fire.
