f0rest started out in the early days of Counter-Strike 1.6 when the game was just evolving and is widely considered a legend. At the time, the scene was much smaller and evolving, and throughout that time he amassed several trophies.

His skills led to some of the most organizations at the time, including Fnatic, and later moved to Ninjas in Pyjamas where he spent most of his career with the start of a new era in Counter-Strike with the release of Global Offensive. He also secured a major during the same time frame after taking down Fnatic at the ESL One Cologne 2014.

“When I first thought about it, I felt sad. But looking back, I'm very, very proud. I'm super happy with the journey I've done with my teammates and all the trophies we've done, all the travels I've done. It also feels like it's good to put a closure on that, to put a bit of ease on my mind,” he told HLTV.
