Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024: All CS2 RMR teams revealed

RMR groups for the upcoming CS2 Major in China are now revealed, featuring over 50 teams competing to secure a spot in the 2024 Perfect World Shanghai Major.

The second Counter Strike 2 Major is set to take place in December, with Perfect World hosting the Shanghai Major. Featuring 24 teams and a prize pool of $1.25 million, all the teams competing at the Major RMR have now been revealed and as always, all eyes are on the European RMR groups.

Majors are the most prestigious events in Counter-Strike, and while there are many other large-scale tournaments throughout the year, the hype for Majors is on an entirely different level. This is also the first time China is hosting a Major, so the fans are also very excited.

CS2 RMR teams locked in

Teams competing for one of the 24 spots at Perfect World Shanghai Major are now finalized, with the Asia Pacific RMRs starting in early November, followed by other regions. Speaking of the number of slots, starting in 2025, the CS2 Majors will feature 32 from the RMRs teams instead of 24.

The European RMR A split features some of the strongest CS2 teams, including three of the top five on the global ranking leaderboard. Thankfully, out of the 16 competing, seven will be moving into the Major, making chances of fan favorites much higher. Another interesting thing to note is that former CSGO pro S1mple is also making his competitive return with the Shanghai Major with Team Falcons.
