SuperGaming reveals esports roadmap for Indus Battle Royale ahead of release

With the release date dawning closer for Indus Battle Royale, SuperGaming has now announced a massive esports circuit for the game featuring a prize pool of Rs 2.5 crore.

SuperGaming has now unveiled its esports roadmap for Indus Battle Royale featuring a combined prize pool of Rs 2.5 crore. The initial tournament will begin in 2024 and by the looks of it, a big chunk of qualifiers will take place in the next few months. This will be the first time a tournament of this scale is happening for a different battle royale game in India.

Indus Battle Royale has been in the making for quite some time now and is the first esports battle royale title developed in India. The game is currently in beta state and is expected to be released soon, however, the developers are not shying away from planning big for the game in the esports industry and have now announced a massive tournament circuit with a prize pool rivalling BGMI tournament levels.

Here’s the complete schedule for Indus International Tournament

The entire tournament circuit is divided into four parts, with the first three leading to the grand finale. SuperGaming has ensured that everyone in the esports community gets a chance to qualify for the main event. These methods include -

1. Homegrown Qualifiers

Featuring a prize pool of Rs 15 lakh, the Homegrown Qualifier is a ruthless journey to the grand finals and is open to the gaming community. This means that anyone can form a team and compete in the event after registration.

Speaking of registration, they are now live and will be active till October 31st, with tournament matches taking place from November 6 to December 3. The teams will compete across the Group Stage, Semifinals and Homegrown finals in a single elimination bracket. The top three teams will move to the grand finals.

2. Nationals Qualifiers

The Nationals Qualifiers is the state open circuit, giving fans and enthusiasts another chance at the tournament. This will be the last chance for teams to qualify for the Indus International Tournament grand finals, and the competition will be even more unforgiving.

Fighting for a prize pool of Rs 10 lakh and only two spots in the grand finals, teams across various states will compete in the state qualifier, moving on to the semifinals and national finals. Registration for this will open on November 15 with matches taking place Starting December 9.

3. Powerplay Qualifiers

For teams who are already in the professional scene, they will get a chance to qualify through the Powerplay featuring a prize pool of Rs 25 lakh. Top teams across the country, possibly Team Soul, Revenant Esports and others will be competing at the event.

Matches will start in Round Robin format leading to the Powerplay finals. Registration for this will run from December 15 to December 22 with matches taking place next year from January 6 to January 15. The Powerplay will see the top eight teams move to the grand finals.

Indus International Mahasangram 2025

All the tournaments will ultimately lead to the Indus International Mahasangram 2025 which will feature the remaining prize pool of Rs 2 crore. Thirteen teams which qualified through the three tournaments will be joined by two global teams in a final clash.

Details regarding this are scarce, however, the event will conclude the roadmap for the Indus International Tournament and will seemingly take place in October 2025. The top team will take home Rs 1 crore, while the MVP for the tournament will bad Rs 2 lakh and a custom Mahindra Thar.
