STAN aiming to become premier spot for India online gaming and esports community

A relatively new gaming community platform, STAN became quite popular within a year of its release. Providing an all-in-one service, the platform have features like streaming, online games and even the ability to host tournaments. For a rapidly growing gaming industry in India, it does catch the attention of a lot of eyes.

Launched back in November 2023, STAN has crossed over 10 million users on Google Play Store and as per the CEO, the combined numbers across all platforms have reached over 15 million. Nazara Technologies, one of the biggest gaming companies in India also acquired a 15.86% stake in STAN which does speak potential.

As we all know, the gaming community, specifically mobile gaming, is growing at a rapid rate. There are many more casual gamers than in the last two or three years, and the numbers are expected to grow at a rapid rate. STAN recently launched STAN se LAN initiative to further help players get a chance to compete in a professional environment.

Apart from this, the platform also allows people to monetize their passion, with top players reportedly getting Rs 3 lakh monthly. Since there is also an option for streaming, it opens up new avenues to earn while gaming. Of course, not everyone will earn from the get-go.
