Skyesports have recently revealed a stacked 2025 roadmap featuring various Counter Strike 2 tournaments. These events are set to carry on the signature events from Skyesports including Masters and Championship. All events combined will feature a prize pool of $1.75 million and will also provide Indian teams to experience global competition.

Following up on Valve’s decision to remove franchising, three out of the four events will feature open qualifiers across India, Europe, the Americas, and Asia. This will allow everyone an equal chance to qualify for the event.

Here is a complete line-up for 2025

Skyesports Souvenir 2025: Feb. 17 to 23, 2025 ($250,000 - Tier 2)
Skyesports Masters 2025: May 26 to June 1, 2025 ($500,000 - Tier 1)

Skyesports World Tour 2025: Nov. 10 to 16, 2025 ($500,000 - Tier 1)

Tournament Format

The Open Qualifiers will be very competitive with 256 teams competing across all regions in a single elimination bracket. Starting round of 16 matches will be played as best of three with the winner from each region making their way into the closed qualifiers.

Closed Qualifiers will see 16 teams invited to the Global VRS ranking, with the top four directly qualifying for the Playoffs. The remaining teams will be joined by teams from Open Qualifiers and will compete in group stages.

With new Valve Rankings and multiple organizers entering the competitive Counter-Strike scene, 2025 is set to be a jam-packed year for everyone. The number of events will also likely see teams' mission on one to attend the other. With things moving so fast, Indian teams who also want to make the name will also need to gear up as Valve just increased the competition.
