The announcement for the Red Dead Redemption PC port had the fans excited, but at the same time, they are now once again worried about the prize for GTA 6. RDR PC is set to release on October 29, a decade after the original release, and comes with a price tag of $49.99 or Rs 3,799 and fans are losing their minds.

If Rockstar is releasing a 14-year-old game with minor improvements for near full price, fans are convinced that the early speculations regarding GTA 6 price on release going over $100 will be true and people will need to save now if they plan on purchasing.

Players are further worried about what this will do to the gaming industry. A few months back, the publishing director at Larian Studios claimed that everyone is waiting for GTA 6 to increase the base price of AAA games because DLCs and Expansions alone cannot do it.

Fans not happy with the pricing

A big part of the community also reacted to the price tag for Red Dead Redemption and while many did agree that the textures, lighting, and fps have been improved along with the inclusion of Undead Nightmare expansion. It still does not justify the $49.99 price tag, especially after many features like multiplayer were removed.

Not only that, the game also does not have regional pricing, which caused Rockstar Games to remove the regional price for Red Dead Redemption 2 from various countries. RDR2 was released at $59.99 or Rs 3,199 in India due to regional pricing but has now increased to Rs 5,000.
