WATCH: Fan concept of GTA 6 story with Lucia and Jason betraying each other

Ever since the main characters, Lucia and Jason, for GTA 6 were revealed, fans have been wondering about their story. One of the popular fan theories is that the characters will have to betray each other, or will be forced to, considering a lot of games from Rockstar feature a similar path. People are even making fan-made story concepts for this.

The short clip showcases the initial scene from the original GTA 6 trailer, where Lucia and Jason promise to have full trust in each other, before transitioning into both betraying each other. Maybe they both met each other in a heist and fell in love, we won’t know unless Rockstar decides to reveal.

However, this particular scene stuck with fans as it gave them a flashback from GTA San Andreas, GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2. This is also one of the most believable scenarios that could happen in the actual game out of all the speculations regarding the story.

Fans share their though on GTA 6 story concept

“Rockstar always make betrayal endings, so I wouldn’t be surprised”, one of the comments said while another one cited, “RDR 2 and San Andreas taught me: Never trust other characters, even if they are with you from the beginning”.

We also had one of the classics “We got GTA 6 ending before GTA 6 itself” in the mix alongside “Nah, we got GTA 6 edits before GTA 6”. Fans also joked, saying, “Rockstar’s gone get ideas on how to break a player's heart along with keeping it safe”, reminiscing the old games.

While the concept itself is quite compelling, it is hard to believe that Rockstar Games will make the story this predictable, considering the fans are getting the next GTA instalment after a decade. Hopefully, there will be a lot more to this, which players will talk about for another decade.
