Recently, Call of Duty (CoD) have fans got to experience the latest entry into the Black Ops franchise and a hands-on experience at the Omnimovement. Following the conclusion of the Open Beta, the clips are coming out and showcasing some of the most insane movement from the players definitely saying that it will have a huge impact on the game.

Omnimovement is a completely new form of movement introduced in CoD Black Ops 6. The main gist of it is that it allows much more natural movement like real life. It changes the entire movement we all know in video games, allowing players to sprint in all directions, dive and have full control while doing it.

Granted, not everyone can run backwards as good, Omnimovement is still fun. If we take this into the online play, it would not be an understatement to call it a “game-changer” which will be necessary to master when the game releases.

The game in itself has a tutorial for Omnimovement which covers all the basic. One thing to know is that the Omnimovement is a little easier with a controller instead of a keyboard and mouse. At times, the Keyboard can break the flow, but with a controller, players can go crazy in all directions.

Speaking of release, Activision recently announced that the game will not have an early access phase for the campaign. As per the devs, this was done in order for the player to enjoy the campaign together while also dodging any story spoilers.

Omnimovement isn’t the only thing making headlines

Apart from Omnimovement, another important thing which has got players excited. Black Ops 6 will also allow players to take their opponents as hostage. This is similar to takedown, but instead of a finisher, players will use the opponent as meat shield for a short duration.

However, this wasn’t the parts fans are excited for. While taking a hostage, both players are able to communicate with each other over proximity chat that can lead to some wacky moments. Players are begging Activision to have the mic open for the full release.
