After three years of absence from the Call of Duty Esports scene, Navi has signed a new roster ahead of the upcoming 2024 Esports World Cup in Riyadh. The org has signed a three-man squad from Australia to compete at the $1 million Warzone event.

The trio include Mark “Zepa” Zepackic, Jack “Levi” Robinson and Aaron “Lymax” Butcher. They were picked up by Navi after their performance at the recent World Series of Warzone 2024 North America Finals. The team managed to secure the fourth spot and qualify for the $950,000 global finals, which they will now play under Navi’s name.

Navi is one of the most popular esports org currently homing the Counter-Strike legend Simple. The org also has teams across multiple other games including Valorant, Dota, League and much more. However, their stint with CoD hasn’t been anything major till now.

NaVi enters Call of Duty for good this time?

The team did form a CoD Mobile roster back in 2021 after acquiring the roster of Team Anarchy, but the run didn’t last long and the team was disbanded shortly after. It remains to be seen if the org is ready to commit CoD this time or will dip out once again after some time.

“Never did I think NAVI would be interested in CoD again, but here we are with an opportunity, and we are going to make the most of it,” Zepa said, speaking to Dot Esports. This is also a great opportunity for these players to get more exposure in the CoD esports scene.

The Call of Duty Warzone event isn’t the only way to grab some cash, as having a team in other events will also secure points, progressing towards Club Championship with $20 million. Navi is set to bring their best for other titles like Counter-Strike, Apex Legends, PUBG and more
