Mortal Kombat 1 fans argue over Mileena’s Mortal Kombat: Deception skin

Following multiple leaks, fans finally got the Mileena Deception skin from Mortal Kombat: Deception from 2004, but few fans do not seem happy with some changes.

Mileena is one of the most iconic characters in the Mortal Kombat games thanks to her uncanny look. Over the years, she has been a staple character in the series, and with the reboot of the franchise in a new universe, Mortal Kombat 1 got one of her iconic outfits from Mortal Kombat: Deception released back in 2004.

Leaks regarding the Deception skin were already floating around after multiple modders found the character skins with images floating around social media. Mileena fans were quite happy to see the devs bring them a piece of the past.

The original Mortal Kombat: Deception was released 20 years ago and saw Mileena in a bold new look. It is now available in Mortal Kombat 1 as an alternative outfit for 500 crystals. Watching the old outfit in action, many fans are now requesting to bring skins for other popular characters like Sub-zero, Kitana, and Tanya from old games.

Not the true Mileena Deception skin?

While a majority of the community is happy that they get the OG skin back in the game, few are complaining that the developers have made many changes, and it is not a true port. This is because the outfit does have some minor changes, but aren’t that significant.
