A bizzare and unintended bug Photograph: (Krafton)
Since its release fans have been grinding their virtual lifestyle inside InZOI. With the game allowing people extensive things on their list to do, people quickly find out they could also run over children in the game. Something which was patched shortly after the developers found out. As per the official statement, this was an unintended bug and not a feature.
“This issue was caused by an unintended bug that has been resolved in the latest patch. These depictions are highly inappropriate and do not reflect the intent and values of InZOI. We understand the seriousness of this matter and age-appropriate content and we are strengthening our internal review processes to prevent similar incidents in the future,” the developers said.
People were quite shocked by the level of realism InZOI provided. Other reports suggest that their character would even go to jail in the game afterward, although, it was likely the punishment for running over a person with a car, to which both children and adults come under.

No harm shall come to kids, even in video games
Video games have come a long way in terms of realism, however, if there’s one rule that everyone follows is to keep the children out of harm's way. For this, most games do not allow players to attack kids if they are present in the game. Games like GTA 5 don’t really have kids roaming around which is another neat trick.
Krafton also released a statement on the situation saying, “These depictions are highly inappropriate and do not reflect the intent and values of inZOI. We understand the seriousness of this matter and age-appropriate content and we are strengthening our internal review processes to prevent similar incidents in the future”.
