GTA 6 trailer reaches 200 million views seven months after reveal

Despite the leaks, the Grand Theft Auto (GTA) 6 Trailer 1 was undoubtedly the biggest reveal of 2023 bringing over 90 million views within 24 hours of launch. Now, after seven long months, the same trailer has crossed over 200 million views on YouTube.

The trailer itself revealed a lot about world-building and how it is set based on the real world progressing. The story follows two characters in a relationship, but more of them are yet to be revealed. All of this was achieved despite the trailer being leaked beforehand, and the official trailer was released early as a result.

Since then, fans have been coming up with various theories of what we will be getting in the next GTA game. Data Miners have also found placeholders for images for the GTA 6 section, which were removed soon after the news spread around.

Next GTA trailer set to release soon?

With the parent company for Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive being positive about the announced release window, fans have been expecting another trailer in the next few months. However, there hasn’t been a single word from Rockstar Games regarding anything about the game.

A few days ago, Take-Two announced that the company would be revealing their report for the first quarter of FY 2025 on August 8. While many are expecting the anticipated Read Dead Redemption PC port with the announcement, few others are also playing for an update on GTA 6.

Once again, there is no solid proof of which game the company may showcase or if there will even be one to begin with, as many also pointed out that an update regarding GTA 6 will likely come from Rockstar Games. All fans can do now is wait.
