CEO for Grand Theft Auto 6 Publisher, Take-Two, Strauss Zelnick in a recent interview claimed that GTA 6 development is well within development schedule and there will be no delays in release despite ongoing rumours.

Even before the interview, Take-Two had already provided a release window for GTA 6 for Fall 2025 however, it seems like not many players were confident with the statement.

This may have come after fans started speculating the release date, and as older GTA games have a reputation for getting delayed after the initial reveal. However, this time, Zelnick seems to be quite sure that the game will be there on time.

The game has now been in development longer than any other GTA title, so it would definitely be a surprise if there is any form of delay. Furthermore, it would also not be fair for the fans who have been waiting for over a decade to see GTA 6.

What won’t be a surprise is the popularity of the game. GTA 6 is already headed towards a massive success even before the launch and is likely the most anticipated game of this decade that will break all sales records.

Still no news on PC release

The news regarding the game development being on schedule might have brought relief for several players, but the PC gamers are still in the dark regarding the availability on their platform as either Take-Two or Rockstar is yet to reveal any details.

Older GTA titles usually release a bit later for PC. If all things are on schedule as per Take-Two’s statement, the chances of a simultaneous release on all platforms might be even a little lower.

Furthermore, it will be a huge heartbreak for the PC gaming community. While there has been no official confirmation regarding the delay in PC release, all players can now do is play that this isn’t the case this time.
