GTA 6 launch price is a very popular topic given the expected release for consoles this year. Most people, including industry analysts, believe in the $100 price but a recent listing on an online Swiss retailer ‘Brack’ has made some noise in the gaming community with a $112 price tag for the game, which exceeds all speculations.
First spotted in a Reddit post, the website displayed GTA 6 with a price of 66 francs or around $112. The FAQ section of Brack claimed that the pre-order listing was correct; however, the listing has now been removed alongside the Reddit post with no further information.
Rockstar Games yet to announce pre-orders
While Brack is reported to be legitimate, the community only has their word as Rockstar Games is yet to announce pre-order. Officially, players are still on the lookout for the long-awaited second trailer for GTA 6, which may reveal further details on the game. However, the $100 price is still being considered a big possibility given the scope of the game and how much praise it received from GTA 5's voice actor.
For now, the listing felt like a pre-order of a pre-order, with many saying the website may have included a premium to guarantee a copy on launch. The GTA 6 launch is expected to be massive and there’s a chance physical discs may start running out early on, but the move does come at a risk of overcharging as the official price is yet to be revealed.
